Experiment with folding techniques to create the perfect Paper Airplane—then see whose airplane lies furthest! A variety of folding instructions and materials will be provided to create Paper Airplane variations. The Paper Airplane Contest will be held at the Pike County Library (Lee Avenue) on Thursday, August 5 at 4:30.
Embroidery for Beginners offers embroidery instruction, stitch techniques, tips and tricks, and basic patterns. The class is free and all materials are provided. Embroidery for Beginners is held every other Thursday (beginning August 5) at 5:00 at the Pike County Public Library (Lee Avenue).
Pike County Public Library’s Genealogy Group meets the 1st & 3rd Friday of each month to share family history and family trees, photographs, and research.
