A huge THANK YOU to everyone who jumped in and worked hard and fast to clear the trails following the recent storm damage. We truly appreciate... the teamwork, dedication, and community spirit that made it possible to get the trails back open so quickly.

🚨 TRAIL CLOSURE NOTICE – BOB AMOS PARK 🚨
Due to recent storm damage and ongoing debris removal, all trails at Bob Amos Park in the City of Pikeville are CLOSED until further notice.
This closure includes:
🌲 Peach Orchard Trail
🌲 Blue Chip Trail
🌲 Real ...McCoy Trail
🌲 Story Book Trail
For everyone’s safety, please stay off the trails while crews work to remove debris and address storm-related hazards.
We will keep the public updated and let you know when the trails are safe to use again.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding, patience, and cooperation as we work to safely restore these trails. ❤️💙

On Monday, August 10th, beginning at 8:00 am, road repair work and subsequent paving will begin on Kati Street near Cedar Gap. Please expect delays as this work requires extensive milling prior to completion of repair.

Cooling Center Information:
With the extremely high temperatures expected this week, the City of Pikeville has worked with the Pikeville Housing Authority to make the front lobby of Myers Tower available as a cooling center from 8 am until 6 pm every day beginning today until Monday, July... 6.
We have also made arrangements for additional space in another downtown facility should the need arise.
