June 25, 2020–A Message from the City of Pikeville regarding The 4th of July Festivities

The safety and health of our residents is of utmost importance to us in our city, and we are taking all necessary steps to ensure a safe and successful Fourth of July this year. At this time, all festivities for the Fourth of July festival have been cancelled, but the annual fireworks show will still go on as planned on Saturday, July 4th around 10pm.

We ask that all guests viewing the firework show remain in their cars and practice social distancing should they need to exit their cars. This is important to ensure that our community is able to enjoy the firework show as safely as possible.

If you have recently traveled outside of the state to an area that is known to have experienced a large outbreak of Coronavirus, we ask that you stay safe at home to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19, where you can watch our live fireworks display at this link:

We thank you in advance for your commitment to keeping our community safe and healthy during this time, and we look forward to putting on the largest firework show in the region for you all to enjoy!
