The game uses a series of dice to help simulate how successful characters and monsters are at achieving their various goals.

DESCRIPTION:Dungeons and Dragons Group will meet every other Thursday at 5:00 at the Pike County Public Library (Lee Avenue) beginning August 18. Beginners and experienced players alike are welcome. Ages 12 and up.\nDungeons and Dragons is a role playing game (RPG) where a single player plays as the Dungeon Master\, creating a world that the players interact with. Players act as a group of adventurers working together to complete quests\, slay monsters\, and achieve their own personal goals. The game uses a series of dice to help simulate how successful characters and monsters are at achieving their various goals.

DESCRIPTION:Santa will visit the Story Trail on December 6th and 8th at 5:30! The sign posts will be lit with Christmas lights as families read “The Christmas Coal Man” by Joe Kulka along the trail. Stop for hot cocoa halfway down the trail\, and meet Santa after you finish the story.\nIn the event of bad weather\, this event will be postponed.\nThe Story Trail is located at Bob Amos Park\, between the Overlook and Muddy Boots Horse Stable. The trail is a quarter mile long and handicap accessible.
