DESCRIPTION:Pikeville\, KY – December 26\, 2024 – Due to unfavorable weather conditions\nforecasted for this weekend\, the City of Pikeville has made the decision to\npostpone the highly anticipated Drone Show and Combined Fireworks Display\nthat was set to take place on Saturday\, December 28th\, at 6 PM at the Hambley\nAthletic Complex. \nThe event was scheduled to celebrate two major milestones: the 100th\nanniversary of Pikeville Medical Center and the 200th anniversary of Pikeville\nitself. While we were excited to bring this special celebration to our community\,\nsafety is our top priority\, and the forecasted weather conditions are not conducive\nto holding such a spectacular event. \nWe are currently working with our partners to determine a new date that will allow\nus to safely host the event and provide our community with the experience it\ndeserves.
